This is a lovely book that tells about a portion of our early history. It is a must for anyone interested in the struggles, hardships and hazards faced by the early settlers and their survivors. Author Lisle reveals some new details regarding the sale of land to the Proprieters by the Sakonnet Indians and the part the Sakonnets played in the devestating King Phillip's War. Well done!
